Self study 3


This week I learned about the terrain builing capabilities along with the package: probuilder. 

I started off by adding a terrain object to my project. I mucked around with the features to learn how to create a few effects, modifications and hopefully add character to it.  I ended up trying to make a backdrop of tree filled hills and a meadow down the bottom which has a flat and open field, as to be occupied by my tourist attraction along with some basic probuilder prototype buildings. 


Below is some of the terrain I extruded to make some hills/mountains. I added five different types of trees before evenly spreading them accross the entire terain. After clearing the space to put the town/civilisation.

Some of the very simple assets I cretaed in pro builder include these houses which I have used to flesh out the scene and add some potential obstacles.


Below is the end product of the scene incluing the terrain with some of my fountain models along with some janky buildings I created in probuilder (red doors are ones with the ability to open with a trigger event).
